Mentors Mixer ’4.0

Rebels with a Cause

May 30th, 2024

The 6IX Academy + Mothers to Daughters hosted Detention on May 30th—an evening designed to connect youth changemakers with industry disruptors who think outside the box. Held at Gotstyle Distillery, this Mentors Mixer 4.0event featured networking opportunities, refreshments, pop-up vendors, and live performances from high school bands and DJs.

The entrepreneurial students of Central Toronto Academy (6IX Academy) collaborated with Foxy Customs to launch a special collection of hair barrettes and necklace pendants, with proceeds supporting Womenmind through CAMH.

Guests were encouraged to embrace their best '90s high school look while engaging with these rising teenpreneurs. And of course, attendance was taken—anyone who didn’t sign in risked double detention!
